QAIS-air-® decomposes odor-causing substances into compounds such as water and carbon dioxide. Odor is controlled by disinfecting the odor-causing bacteria. It also decomposes harmful organic compounds (such as bacteria and viruses) that are floating in the air.
Our product is designed to be mounted on the wall directly over the odor source such as litter box, pee pad or bathroom area or positioned higher up on the wall to efficiently circulate air. For example, the smell of ammonia (the main component of bathroom odors) is lighter than air and rises. QAIS-air- 04 quickly catches and deodorizes the ammonia before the smell spreads to the rest of the room. Ammonia's Journey - Why is Wall Mounting So Important?
Our in-house experiment shows that ammonia is lighter than air and tends to diffuse throughout the room as it floats up.
*This demonstration is conducted in a 200ℓ box. The movement of ammonia will vary depending on the situation and conditions at the site. QAIS-air- 04 is visible but not operating in this experiment.
How to use
Mount the QAIS-air-® on the wall above your pet's area. This will capture the odor as it floats up. Ammonia is lighter than air and tends to diffuse throughout the room and this placement will "catch it from above" before it spreads. QAIS-air-® delivers clean air 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.
MAX mode for fast results. When you need quick outcomes like when you have visitors at home, use MAX mode which turns to standard mode in about 10 min.
